Me? I am a Christian and a wife, and usually failing utterly in both positions. I am a home-birthing, non-circumcising, extended breastfeeding mother of two that has found that the best parenting philosophy is to read less books about parenting. I am a leader in a birth education non-profit called BloomSpokane. I love to cook and I love to eat. I really really love shoes. I have way too many hobbies to practice them all at once- right now I'm focused on gardening and playing with lots of yarn.
I believe in the powers of positive thought, prayer, caffeine, and obscene amounts of chocolate. I want to be more peaceful, more thankful, more devoted to my family, a better friend, and so much more. Really, I'm just trying as hard as I can to get thru each day.
Zeke and Malachi are those two I mentioned before. Ages 3 and 1, respectively. They are a challenge and they are a joy; sometimes more one then the other.
